Momcozy M9 Review
If you’re considering the Momcozy M9 wearable breast pump, you’re likely looking for a hands-free pump with more control and customization than standard wearable options. In this Momcozy M9 review, I share my hands-on experience using the pump in real-world situations, including suction performance, app control, comfort, battery life, and portability.
On paper, the Momcozy M9 offers up to 300 mmHg suction, app-based pumping modes, customizable rhythms, and the ability to pump and store milk directly in the collection containers. The question is whether these features actually improve day-to-day pumping or simply add complexity.
While this article focuses on a full, in-depth Momcozy M9 review, many moms also want to understand how it compares to other Momcozy pumps. At a high level, the M9 delivers stronger customization and smart control than the M5 or M6, but comes with more parts and a steeper learning curve.
I cover everything you need to know below so you can decide if the Momcozy M9 fits your pumping routine. If you’re still comparing models, you can also read my Momcozy M5 vs M6 vs M9 comparison for a side-by-side breakdown.
This review is best suited for moms who pump frequently and want app-controlled customization, smart features, and the ability to pump and store milk in one container.

My Momcozy M9 Review
The Momcozy M9, also known as the Momcozy Mobile Flow, is the most advanced wearable breast pump in the Momcozy lineup. While it shares a similar teardrop design with pumps like the Momcozy M6, the M9 stands apart with app control, customizable pumping modes, and the ability to pump and store milk directly in the collection containers.
In this review, I take a detailed look at the Momcozy M9 based on hands-on setup, daily usability, comfort design, controls, portability, and feature set — focusing on how it fits into real pumping routines rather than just listing specs.
There’s a lot to like about this pump, especially if you value customization and discreet control, but there are also a few important considerations to keep in mind before deciding if it’s the right fit for your needs.
Below, I break down everything you need to know about the Momcozy M9, including performance, comfort, user-friendliness, portability, and value for money, so you can decide whether it belongs in your pumping setup.
What I Love About The Momcozy M9 Pump
When I review a breast pump, there are some key factors that I will rate a pump by. These include the design, suction strength, battery life, portability, comfort, user friendliness, and price. As well as any other unique features that make it either a standout or a deal breaker.
For me, the standout feature of the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow pump is definitely its Momcozy App integration. It is currently the only pump in the Momcozy pump range that integrates with an app. And honestly the app itself has some great features that I’ll discuss in more detail later.
While the Momcozy M9 shares a similar teardrop shape with the M6, its design is functionally very different, particularly in how milk is collected, stored, and controlled through the app. There are some negatives here for me in terms of a more complicated design, but one thing I do love is that you can directly store your breast milk in the collection bottles. I think this is a fantastic option for pumping on the go.
A few other highlights for me include the 15 suction levels, hard plastic and soft silicone flange for extra comfort and ease of use, and the hard-shell carry case!
In terms of performance, comfort, and user friendliness, the Momcozy M9 comes with all the features you’ve come to expect from a Momcozy pump.
You have your Momcozy trademarked DoubleFit™ flange, it has a suction strength up to 300mmHg that is controlled by 3 pumping modes and 15 suction levels. There are also additional mode options via the Momcozy app. It also comes with a large LED screen with inbuilt timer which makes it very easy to use. I also really like the 150-minute battery life off a single charge.
But that’s not all on offer so let’s look at the other key pros, and cons, of the Momcozy M9 wearable pump.
Performance and Efficiency
The Momcozy M9 Breast Pump is a powerful wearable breast pump that offers hospital grade suction strength up to 300mmHg. This can be controlled via the pump by its three different modes, which include stimulation, expression, and mixed mode.
The stimulation mode is used to initiate the letdown, while the expression mode is for the longer draw and out suction that extracts the breast milk. The mixed mode combines both the stimulation and expression modes to provide a more customized pumping experience.
While the mixed mode is a great addition, the M9 doesn’t include vibration settings like those found in the Momcozy M5. If you’re deciding between the two, check out my Momcozy M5 vs M9 comparison for a full breakdown.
But remember how I mentioned the Momcozy app? Well, this is where the Momcozy M9 really does shine!
Within the Momcozy app you have the include of two additional professional modes: Milk Relief and Milk Boost.
Milk relief is a quick release for balanced milk flow that is designed to help with engorgement. The milk boost is similar to power pumping and designed to help boost your milk supply. Please note though, these additional modes can only be accessed via the Momcozy app.
And to top that off, the Momcozy app also lets you customize your own pumping patterns! This means you have complete control of your pumping rhythms, including speed cycles, to best suit your output and comfort levels. This gives you more control over how the pump mimics your baby’s nursing pattern.
You can also change your cycle speed frequency with the Momcozy V1 Pro, though the V1 Pro allows you to make these adjustments directly on the pump — whereas with the M9, it’s only available through the app. If you’re deciding between the two, check out my full Momcozy V1 Pro vs M9 comparison for all the differences.
You also have a huge 15 suction levels to choose from so you can easily tailor the suction intensity to suit your individual comfort and milk flow requirements. This is a big step up from the other Momcozy wearable pumps that have a standard 9 suction levels.

Design
I really do love the flattering tear drop design of the Momcozy M9 and well as the collection come storage bottles. The large, DoubleFit™ flange is also another stand out for me.
That said, the design does come with trade-offs that are worth considering before buying.
Because the M9 uses a more modular design, it has more parts than simpler Momcozy pumps, which means it can be more complicated to use and clean, as well as leading to more opportunities for leaks, loss of suction, and even more regular maintenance.
The storage bottles are also only 5oz which is at least 1 oz smaller capacity to other Momcozy pumps. Whilst 5oz is generally adequate for most pumping moms, if you have a plentiful supply of breastmilk, you may find that you easily overfill this, again leading to possible leaks.

Comfort
One thing I really love about Momcozy is that they really do emphasize comfort with their wearable pumps, and the Momcozy M9 Mobile Flow is no exception.
As I mentioned previously, I am a big fan of the Momcozy DoubleFit™ Flange. This cushioned breast shield design provides a secure and snug fit around the breast during pumping, which not only supports the breast but also helps create a secure vacuum for maximum efficiency. The flange cushion is also larger on the Momcozy M9 for additional comfort and seal.
The Momcozy M9 breast pump comes with a default flange size of 24mm, but included in your pack is also 3 different flange insert sizes (17mm, 19mm, and 21mm) for those needing a smaller fit. I love that Momcozy also helps to make finding your correct flange size easy with their nipple size chart.
The pumps are also lightweight at only 320g per pump.

Noise Levels
Nobody wants to wear a breast pump that is loud! Thankfully, the Momcozy M9 operates quietly, producing noise levels of under 50dB. Whilst this isn’t silent, I think it is quiet enough to provide a discreet pumping experience, especially if there is a little bit of background noise.
User-Friendliness
In terms of user-friendliness this really is conflicting for me.
On the one hand you have the ability to use the Momcozy M9 with the Momcozy App. In the app you have full control of your Momcozy M9 pump with the ability to start/pause/countdown pumping and switch to different pumping settings. I love this as it makes it super easy to use your pumps without the need of reaching into your bra! Making the Momcozy M9 extremely discrete!
Better yet, you can keep records of your pumping session yield to track your pumping history.

The Momcozy M9 pump also comes with an easy to use, large LED screen so you can also easily keep track of your pumping session via the pump.
The LED screen is operated by just 4 buttons to help simplify the process. I am also a big fan of the inbuilt timer as it just means one less thing to try keep a track of.

The big down side for me though, is that this pump has a lot of parts to it that makes it more complicated to use compared with other Momcozy pumps, such as the Momcozy S12 pro which only has 5 components to it. I think the Momcozy App is easy to use, but if you’re not very tech savvy then you may not like it or at the least have a learning curve.
I did put together this video on how to use the Momcozy App which I do recommend watching if you are considering the Momcozy M9!

Portability
When I talk about portability, the key factor for me is battery life!
The good news is that the Momcozy M9 pump comes with a solid 150 minutes of battery life. If your pumping session is only 20mins long that means you could use your pump up to 7 times before you needed to recharge it or 4 to 5 times for longer 30-minute pumping sessions.
It takes 150 minutes to fully recharge via USB for added convenience.
But as I discussed previously, what makes the Momcozy M9 shine for portability is that you can use the collection bottles/cups to directly store your breast milk! You simply remove your collection bottle after pumping and add the cap. This takes away the need for transferring your breastmilk to another storage container, which I think is fantastic when on the go. Your kit comes with 2 spare bottles and caps, which is an added bonus.
To add to its potability it comes with an awesome hard-shell carry case! This carry case is compact, stylish, and perfect for keeping your pump protected whilst on the go. There is even enough room for your accessories such as flange inserts, charging cables, and spare parts.

Value for Money
As you might expect, the Momcozy M9 is the premium model of the Momcozy pump range. If you’re on a tight budget, then this likely won’t be the pump for you.
That said, you are getting a wearable breast pump with high end features such as tracking app integration. And there are plenty of wearable breast pumps like the Eufy S1 Pro with these features that come with a much higher price tag. You can compare them in my Eufy S1 Pro vs Momcozy M9 comparison.
I also think Momcozy does a fantastic job of adding value with all their additional inclusions such as the hard-shell carry case and flange inserts.
When you purchase a Momcozy M9 breast pump, included in your kit is:
Double Wearable Pump Kit
- 17mm Flange Insert * 2
- 19mm Flange Insert * 2
- 21mm Flange Insert * 2
- 24mm Flange * 2
- Pump Motor * 2
- Diaphragm * 2
- Silicone Valve * 4
- Storage Lids * 4
- Milk Collector (150ml) * 4
- USB Type-C Cable * 2
- Storage Box * 1
- Flange Cover * 2
- Flange Size Ruler * 2
What I Wish Was Different
I think there is a lot to love about the Momcozy M9 wearable breast pump, but there are a few things I wish were different.
I have already mentioned it, but I really wish that the parts on this pump were more simplified as with other Momcozy pumps. There are parts like the silicone diagram that I feel will need more maintenance just due to their design.
If I am being picky, I find the collection containers are harder to pour from as there is no pouring spout. And they are on the smaller side, which isn’t ideal for overproducers. But, as I mentioned earlier you can store your milk directly in the cups which I do really love.
Another minor consideration is that the breast pump’s soft, food-grade silicone parts are not dishwasher or UV sterilizer safe. They are hand wash only. While this tradeoff offers comfort, sacrificing convenience is not lost on me. Still, in an ideal scenario it would be nice to have both!
I love that there is additional flange inserts included in the kit. Unfortunately, if you require a flange larger than the 24mm you will need to look to purchase this separately. Again, if you are a nipple size smaller than 17mm. For most breastfeeding mothers, this won’t be an issue, but just something to keep in mind.
The Verdict
Overall, the Momcozy M9 is a highly capable wearable breast pump designed for moms who want more control and customization built into their pumping routine.
It delivers strong suction up to 300 mmHg, offers a wide range of suction levels, and stands out within the Momcozy lineup for its app connectivity. The ability to adjust settings, customize pumping rhythms, set timers, and track sessions through the Momcozy app adds a level of flexibility that isn’t available on other Momcozy wearables.
The option to pump directly into the collection containers and store milk without transferring is another thoughtful feature, particularly for pumping at work, commuting, or pumping on the go. Comfort is also well considered, with the larger DoubleFit silicone flange and ergonomic teardrop design offering a secure and supportive fit for many users.
That said, the Momcozy M9 is more complex than other models in the range. It has more components to assemble and clean, and some of its advanced features rely on using the app. If you prefer a simpler pump with fewer parts and no app involvement, this may not be the best fit.
If you want a Momcozy wearable breast pump with app integration and the highest level of customization available in the lineup, the Momcozy M9 stands alone. If you don’t need app-based control and would rather prioritize simplicity or longer battery life, the Momcozy M6 or M5 may be a better match. You can see how they compare side by side in my Momcozy M5 vs M6 vs M9 comparison.
