Momcozy M6 Mobile Style Review
Momcozy sent me their latest Momcozy Mobile Style breast pump, also known as the Momcozy M6, to test out, and I have to say, I was quite impressed. But will the sleek design of this wearable pump with its hard plastic flange (to reduce leaks and improve suction), teardrop shape, and comfortable DoubleFit™ flange win you over too? Finding the right wearable breast pump for you is a balance of comfort, performance, portability, and affordability.

Let’s take a look and find out.

What I Love About The Momcozy Mobile Style Pump
There are a number of factors that I rate a wearable breast pump by. This includes their design, suction strength, battery life, portability, comfort, user friendliness, and price. As well as any other additional standout features.
For me, the standout feature of the Momcozy M6 Mobile Style Pump is its design.
Unlike the traditional semi-circle shaped design of many all-in-one wearable breast pumps, like the Lumbi L1, the Mobile Style has a really flattering tear drop shape that feels more like an extension of your breast. Better yet, it comes with a unique hard plastic flange that easily clips to the collection cup to form your seal, which is a vast difference from the usual silicon flanges that you need to try lift over the collection cup lip to get a secure seal.
And don’t be put off if the notion of a hard, plastic flange sounds uncomfortable! In fact, the Momcozy Mobile Style Pump comes with a unique DoubleFit™ flange, which is essentially an ultra-comfortable breast shield cushion that not only helps with comfort but also ensures a secure seal for optimum suction. The front of the flange is also lined with a soft silicone.
In terms of performance and user friendliness, the Mobile Style comes with all the features you’ve come to expect from a Momcozy pump. It has a suction strength up to 295mmHg that is controlled by 3 pumping modes and 9 suction levels. It also comes with a large LED screen with inbuilt timer which makes it very easy to use. I also love the extended 180-minute battery life that comes with a quick 1.5hour recharge.
Impressed yet? Well, that’s not all on offer, so let’s take a look at the other key features on offer with the Mobile Style wearable pump.
Performance and Efficiency
The Momcozy Mobile Style Handsfree Breast Pump is a powerful wearable breast pump that offers up to 295mmHg suction strength. This can be controlled by its three different modes, which include stimulation, expression, and mixed mode.
The stimulation mode is used to initiate the letdown, while the expression mode is for the longer draw and out suction that extracts the breast milk. The mixed mode combines both the stimulation and expression modes to provide a more customized pumping experience.
Whilst the mixed mode is a nice inclusion, there are no additional modes like vibration or a depth mode like on the more affordable Bellababy W40 pump.
That said, I feel like the three modes, when coupled with the nine suction levels, are more than adequate to let you tailor the suction intensity to suit your individual comfort and milk flow requirements.
I have also been advised by Momcozy, that after over 10,000 trials and feedback from more than 1,146 mothers, the Momcozy team has fine-tuned their rhythm so not only is it comfortable, but it’s also been proven to increase milk supply.
You can learn more about the different setting and how to use them in my how to use Momcozy M6 step by step guide.

Design
I’ve mentioned several times now how I am a big fan of the all-in-one tear drop design as I think it really added to the overall discretion of the pump. Especially, when you compare it to a pump motor on top of the collection cup design like the Momcozy S12 Pro or MomMed S10 Pro.
The design hasn’t compromised on its collection capabilities, as the Mobile Style comes with a very ample 6oz collection cup. This is great especially for those that pump a lot of milk during your pumping session as you’re less likely to experience any spillage or the need to empty your cup during your pumping session.
When it comes to reducing leaks and spillage, the unique design of hard, plastic flange is a big stand out for me. I can’t even count the number of times that I have struggled trying to get a secure seal with a silicone flange over the lip of a collection cup, especially when I was new to wearable breast pumps! I really love that you can easily clip the plastic flange into place and know that you have a secure seal.

Comfort
Comfort goes hand in hand with a pump’s performance and efficiency for me. After all, if a pump is uncomfortable, or worse does damage, the chances of you using it are far less. Your comfort levels are also linked to the release of the hormone oxytocin, which stimulates your let-down reflex, so being comfortable is vital.
That’s a reason why I am a big fan of the Momcozy DoubleFit™ Flange. This cushioned breast shield design provides a secure and snug fit around the breast during pumping, which not only supports the breast but also helps create a secure vacuum for maximum efficiency.
The Mobile Style breast pump comes with a default flange size of 24mm, but included in your pack is also 3 different flange insert sizes (17mm, 19mm, and 21mm) for those needing a smaller fit. I love that Momcozy also helps to make finding your correct flange size easy with their nipple size chart.

Noise Levels
If discretion is highly important to you, then you’ll appreciate that the Mobile Style operates quietly, producing noise levels of under 50dB. Whilst this isn’t silent, I think it is quiet enough to provide a discreet pumping experience, especially if there is a little bit of background noise.
User-Friendliness
Like with most Momcozy pumps, the Mobile Style is straightforward and easy to use. It comes assembled with minimal parts, has clear instructions, and my favorite, it comes with a large LED screen. The backlight of the LED screen also turns off after a minute without use so it doesn’t impede user discretion.
The LED screen is operated by just 4 buttons to help simplify the process. I am also a big fan of the inbuilt timer as it just means one less thing to try keep a track of.
The Mobile Style also comes with a memory function that saves your last suction levels for each mode, making it easy to start pumping quickly. You can also push the power button to activate the pause option.

Portability
The key factor in evaluating the portability of a wearable breast pump is its battery life. The longer the battery life, the more you are going to be able to pump on the go.
The good news is that the Mobile Style hands free pump comes with a generous 180 minutes of battery life and can be fully recharged in just 1.5 hours. If your pumping session is only 20mins long that means you could use your pump up to 8 to 9 times before you needed to recharge it or 5 to 6 times for longer 30-minute pumping sessions.
I do also love the convenience of the Type-C charging port, which is compatible with a 5V 1A adapter so you can charge your pump at home, in the car, or using other compatible charging devices.
Now to one of my favorites, I have yet to talk about the hard-shell carry case! This carry case is compact, stylish, and perfect for keeping your pump protected whilst on the go. There is even enough room for your accessories such as flange inserts, charging cables, and spare parts.

Value for Money
So, is the Momcozy Mobile Style worth considering? For me, it’s a big yes!
With the Mobile Style you are getting a quality wearable breast pump from the reputable Momcozy brand, that not only focuses on discretion, but a comfortable and efficient pumping experience. Plus, with its extended battery life and hard-shell carry case you know it has been designed with portability in mind.
That said, it is the most expensive pump in the Momcozy range.
You also don’t get any of the high-end features of wearable breast pump, such as a tracking app, but I don’t feel you actually need those unless you’re exclusively pumping or needing to build your milk supply. And in those circumstances, you can easily use an external tracking app.
When you purchase a Momcozy M6 Mobile Style breast pump, included in your kit is:
Double Wearable Pump Kit
- 17mm Flange Insert * 2
- 19mm Flange Insert * 2
- 21mm Flange Insert * 2
- 24mm Flage * 2
- Pump Motor * 2
- Silicone Diaphragm * 2
- Duckbill Valve * 4
- Milk Collector * 2
- Silicone Flange (24 mm) * 2
- USB Type-C Cable * 2
- Storage Box * 1
- Flange Cover * 2
- Flange Size Ruler * 2
What I Wish Was Different
I don’t have many complaints about the Mobile Style pump, but if I am being picky I can find a few areas for improvement.
To start, the breast pump’s soft, food-grade silicone parts are not dishwasher safe, it is recommended that you hand wash the parts, and boil for no more than 3 minutes. While this tradeoff offers comfort, sacrificing convenience is not lost on me. Still, in an ideal scenario it would be nice to have both!
I love that there are additional flange inserts included in the kit. Unfortunately, if you require a flange larger than the 24mm you will need to look to purchase this separately. Again, if you are a nipple size smaller than 17mm. For most breastfeeding mothers, this won’t be an issue, but just something to keep in mind.
Additionally, the Mobile Style lacks some advanced features such as Bluetooth connectivity and mobile app integration. Whilst this isn’t something to expect in the price range I do think it would definitely be a nice to have.

The Verdict
If you’re looking for a wearable breast pump that is not only discrete, but promotes comfort and productivity, then I think it’s hard to go wrong with the Momcozy M6.
The standout for me that set this pump apart from other Momcozy pumps is its sleek, tear drop design and very easy to use hard, plastic flange.
Coupled with its cushioned breast shield design, powerful 295mmHg suction strength, 3 modes, 9 different suction levels, long 180minute battery life with quick recharge, and large LED screen I think the Momcozy Mobile Style presents as a great wearable breast pump option.
I think the additional inclusions including flange inserts and the fantastic hard-shell carry case only help to add to its overall value and appeal.
