Momcozy S9 Pro Review
The Momcozy S9 Pro is the base model of the Momcozy wearable breast pump range, and as someone who’s tried several pumps before, I was curious to see how this one would compare, especially given its price point. So, to tested out the S9 Pro to see if it lives up to its budget-friendly claims.
Right off the bat, I noticed how lightweight and compact it was, making it super easy to wear while doing other things. I was able to pump while doing household chores and even while working at my desk, which was a huge time-saver. The 9 adjustable suction levels were definitely a plus, as I could customize my sessions based on what felt most comfortable.
But even with all these features, I was wondering: Would the Momcozy S9 Pro meet my needs for daily, efficient pumping? In this review, I’ll share my experience with the Momcozy S9 Pro pump, covering everything from battery life to comfort, and give you an honest look at whether it’s the right fit for you.

My Personal Experience with the Momcozy S9 Pro
As a busy mom, I know how overwhelming it can be to choose the right breast pump. Sometimes, all you need is a simple, reliable option that gets the job done without all the extra features. And for me, that’s where the Momcozy S9 Pro comes in. As the base model in the Momcozy line, it offers everything you need at a price that won’t break the bank.
During my time testing the S9 Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by how long the battery lasted. This was something I really appreciated, especially on days when I’m juggling chores and work. Compared to some of the higher-end models, like the Momcozy S12 Pro, the S9 Pro’s longer battery life was definitely a win. In this guide, I detail more of the difference between Momcozy S9 Pro and S12 Pro.
For this review though, I’ll share my personal experience with the Momcozy S9 Pro, including what I liked, what could be improved, and whether it’s the right fit for you and your pumping routine.

What I love About The Momcozy S9 Pro
When I evaluate wearable breast pumps, there are a few key features I always look for: suction strength, battery life, portability, comfort, ease of use, and, of course, price.
Having reviewed several pumps over time, I’ve become pretty quick at assessing how a new model stacks up against others in the same price range.
At just $64.99 for one pump or $95.99 for two, the Momcozy S9 Pro offers a significant upgrade over other budget-friendly options I’ve tried.
It has a powerful suction strength up to 300mmHg that is controlled by 2 pumping modes and 9 suction levels, allowing for a customizable experience.
One feature that really surprised me was the larger battery capacity in the S9 Pro compared to Momcozy S12 Pro, which is the next model up. The S9 Pro can be used for roughly 180 minutes when fully charged. That is around 8 to 9 x 20 minute pumping sessions. So, even when pumping full-time it could last you a full day without needing to be recharged. Recharging takes 2.5 hours.
It also comes with an LED screen that I found easy to read, even for nigh time pumping sessions. It has an ample 6oz container capacity and at less than 50dB it is also relatively quiet.
So far, it seems to offer a lot for the price. Let’s explore the features in more detail, as well as, what’s missing compared to the more advanced Momcozy models..
Performance and Efficiency
The Momcozy S9 Pro might be a base model, but it does not compromise suction strength. With a suction force up to 300mmHg, this offers comparable power to some higher-end wearable pumps.
Whilst this is a powerful pump, it only comes with 2 modes, stimulation and expression. These are the two basic modes that you’d expect with any beast pump. More advanced models come with additional options such as mixed or vibration modes or even the ability to customize your own pumping rhythms. That said, given the S9’s price point, the two modes are reasonable.
The S9 Pro has 9 different suction levels so you can easily adjust the suction strength according to your comfort and milk flow requirements. Whilst there are wearable breast pumps with more suction levels, I felt the 9 suction levels was more than enough to find a setting that was comfortable and provided good milk output.

Design
There are two designs when it comes to wearable breast pumps, an all-in-one and the second where the pump motor sits on top of the collection container. Both have their pros and cons, but I rarely find the design of a wearable pump is a deal breaker.
The Momcozy S9 Pro is the latter version, where the pump motor sits on top of the collection cup. The advantage of this is that you get a large 6 oz collection cup capacity and that it is very easy to see your progress during your pumping session. The downside is that it is a little less discrete than an all-in-one pump design, as the pump motors stick out of the top of your pumping bra.

Comfort
Comfort while pumping is a priority! It not only helps with your flow, but also ensures you do not do any damage to your nipples.
Unfortunately, the S9 Pro doesn’t come with the DoubleFit™ flange feature that you see with the other Momcozy wearable pumps. Instead, it comes with a standard 24mm flange.
Still, they have included some additional comfort features! I do love that the pump does come with a nipple size chart so you can determine your proper flange size and a set of bra adjustment buckles that allow you to easily adapt the pump’s size to fit your existing bras.
You also have the option to purchase a 27mm flange for a larger fit, or choose from inserts in sizes of 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm for smaller breast sizes. These options ensure that you can easily find the perfect fit, enhancing comfort during your pumping sessions.
Noise Levels
No one wants to be attached to a loud pump! Luckily, the S9 Pro functions with minimal noise, producing sound levels below 50dB. This is on par with other Momcozy pumps.

User-Friendliness
When it comes to user-friendliness, one of the first things I look for is whether the pump has an LED screen and what kind of information it displays.
The good news? The Momcozy S9 Pro does include an LED screen — though it’s fairly small and basic. It displays your current mode, suction level, and battery life, which is handy for quick reference. However, it doesn’t include extras like a built-in timer, which some moms may miss.
That said, the S9 Pro is very straightforward to operate, making it a great choice for first-time users. If you want a walkthrough of how it works, check out my How to Use Momcozy S9 Pro guide.

Portability
My favorite thing about the Momcozy S9 Pro is it’s portability!
Firstly, it is a wearable breast pump. Tick!
Next is its battery life, where I think it truly shines. The battery of the S9 Pro is designed to last for extended periods and can be used for roughly 180 minutes when fully charged, which equates to 8 to 9, 20-minute sessions. Depending how often you pump, this can last you for 24 hours of pumping or much more if you’re a part time or occasional pumper.
I tested this while on a road trip and loved that I could recharge it in the car via USB which is so convenient! It does take up to 2.5 hours to fully recharge, which is the only downside I can see when it comes to the portability of the S9 Pro.
Value for Money
So, the big question, is the Momcozy S9 Pro worth it?
At just $64.99 for one pump or $95.99 for two, or even less if you find it on sale, I think it is a worthy contender, especially if you’re on a tight budget.
It comes with all the essential features you want in a breast pump. It’s highly portable, powerful, and easy to use. It just doesn’t come with any of the nice to have extras, such as an inbuilt timer, extra modes, additional comfort features, and accessories.
And you certainly don’t get of the high-end features of wearable breast pump, such as a tracking app, but I don’t feel you actually need those unless you’re exclusively pumping or needing to build your milk supply. And in those circumstances, you can easily use an external tracking app.
When you purchase a Momcozy S9 Pro breast pump, included in your kit is:

What I Wish Was Different
Honestly, I think that the Momcozy S9 Pro has its place. That said, there are some things I would love to see improved.
I would love to see the inclusion of flange inserts in the kit. I think this would be a big bonus for moms new to pumping and don’t yet know their flange size.
The pump parts are not dishwasher safe. You can, however, use the Momcozy microwave sterilizing bags. For me, this one is a bit of a tradeoff though you are paying with convivence but benefit with comfort. Still, it would be nice to have both!
I think the inclusion of a Type-C USB charger would be great for faster charging.
Having the DoubleFit™ flange would also be a huge bonus, but I can see why they have left this as the standard flange and only offered it for the more premium pumps. Again, I think it is important to keep in mind that this is a base model, without the frills.
My Verdict
Overall, I find the Momcozy S9 Pro to be a solid, compact wearable breast pump that offers a great balance of convenience, efficiency, and affordability. After using it myself, I can say that it really delivers when it comes to suction strength and battery life, which are two features that are often a dealbreaker for me with wearable pumps.
While it’s considered a base model, it still does a great job for moms who want a reliable pump without breaking the bank.
