My Momcozy S12 Pro Review
I’ll be honest, finding the perfect breast pump that balances comfort, convenience, and affordability is quite the challenge. I know because I’ve tested A LOT of them. Whether it’s comfort, suction power, portability, or ease of use, there’s always a trade-off involved.
But could the Momcozy S12 Pro be the answer? It’s powerful, has a long-lasting battery life with a quick recharge, is user friendly, and affordable.
Let’s take a look and find out.

What I love About The Momcozy S12 Pro
When it comes to wearable breast pumps, I rate them based on their suction strength, battery life, portability, comfort, user friendliness, and price. As well as any other additional features.
For me, the Momcozy S12 Pro ticks a lot of boxes.
It has a suction strength up to 300mmHg that is controlled by 3 pumping modes and 9 suction levels. It also comes with a large LED screen with inbuilt timer which makes it very easy to use. I also love the 140-minute battery life that comes with a quick 1.5 hour recharge.
But what I think makes the Momcozy S12 Pro stand out from other wearable breast pumps in this price range — such as the Bellababy W40 breast pump — is its cushioned breast shield design that enhances comfort and efficiency during pumping. The cushioned shield provides a secure and snug fit around the breast, helping to reduce discomfort and irritation during longer sessions. Plus, the double-seal design minimizes air leaks, which boosts both comfort and suction performance. If you’re weighing these two options, don’t miss my Bellababy vs Momcozy comparison for a closer look at how they differ.
That’s not all that is on offer though, so let’s take a look at some of the other key features of the S12 Pro.
Performance and Efficiency
One of the key features of the Momcozy S12 Pro is its powerful suction force up to 300mmHg. For a wearable breast pump, it is unlikely that you’ll beat this level of suction strength.
In terms of modes, the Momcozy S12 Pro offers three distinct pumping modes – stimulation, expression, and mixed mode. Whilst the stimulation and expression modes are a given with any wearable breast pump, the third mixed mode is a nice addition. The “mixed” mode combines both expression and stimulation phases so you can really tailor your pumping experience for maximum efficiency and comfort.
There is no vibration mode, like on the Momcozy M5, but for this price point I wouldn’t expect to see it. If you’re curious how the two compare, check out my Momcozy M5 vs S12 Pro comparison for a full breakdown of features and value.
You do however have 9 different suction levels which lets you fine-tune the suction strength according to your comfort and milk flow requirements. Whilst there are wearable breast pumps with more suction levels, I feel the 9 suction levels is more than enough to find a setting that works for you.

Design
When it comes to wearable breast pumps, there are generally two different designs: one where the pump motor sits on top of the collection cup, like the Momcozy S12 pro and Kissbobo 1508 or there is the all in one design like the Momcozy M6 where the collection cup and pump motor are one unit.
Whilst having the pump motor sitting on the top of the collection cup makes it slightly less discreet (as you will see the pump motor sticking out of the top of your bra), there is an advantage. That advantage is that your collection cups can be larger. In the case of the Momcozy S12 Pro it comes with a very ample 6oz collection cup. This is great especially for those that pump a lot of milk during your pumping session as you’re less likely to experience any spillage or the need to empty your cup during your pumping session.

Comfort
Nobody wants an uncomfortable pumping session. Period.
That’s why I love the S12 Pro’s cushioned breast shield design! In fact, all the Momcozy breast pumps to date come with this DoubleFit™ flange feature which provides a secure and snug fit around the breast during pumping. This cushion not only creates a cushion for your breast, but also helps with creating a secure vacuum for ultimate efficiency.
I will note, Momcozy refers to it as a double sealed flange, but this can also refer to the double seal on the neck of the flange which just makes things confusing, so I prefer to call it a cushioned breast shield.
Whilst I love the cushioned breast shield design, I think it’s also important to note that you need to consider other factors such as flange size, suction strength, how heavy the pump is, and even any breast health issues when it comes to how comfortable a breast pump is.
While we are talking about comfort and flange sizes though, I love that the Momcozy comes a nipple size chart so you can determine your proper flange size and a set of bra adjustment buckles that allow you to easily adapt the pump’s size to fit your existing bras.
Unfortunately, in my pump kit there were no additional flange inserts included. So, if you do need to choose a larger or smaller flange size you will need to order those separately, which I do find a bit annoying especially considering they are relatively inexpensive to include.
The S12 Pro breast pump includes a default flange size of 24mm.
Although purchased separately, you can choose from a 27mm flange for a larger fit or flange inserts in sizes of 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm for smaller breast sizes.
Noise Levels
The S12 Pro operates with minimal noise, generating levels of less than 50dB. This quiet operation ensures a discreet and unobtrusive pumping experience, making it suitable for use in various settings, including at home, in the office, or in public spaces. The low noise level reduces potential distractions and allows mothers to pump comfortably and without feeling self-conscious or waking their sleeping baby.

User-Friendliness
I do love a breast pump that comes with a large, easy to use LED screen. And the Momcozy S12 pro does not disappoint, especially when you compare the Momcozy S9 Pro vs S12 Pro!
The breast pump boasts a simple and intuitive interface with well-labelled controls and indicators.
I find the large LED buttons are easy to read, even in low-light conditions, so you can easily keep track of your pumping session. I am also a big fan of the inbuilt timer as it just means one less thing to try keep a track of.
The S12 Pro also comes with a memory function that saves your last suction levels for each mode, making it easy to start pumping quickly.
It is very easy to use as you can see in my how to use Momcozy S12 Pro guide.

Portability
The very fact that your reading this Momcozy S12 review tells me that portability and pumping on the go is going to be one of your deciding factors when choosing a breast pump.
So how does the S12 stack up?
Being a wearable breast pump is obvious the first big tick.
In terms of battery life, the S12 Pro offers a battery life of 140 minutes, which is about 5 to 6 pumping sessions (or more) depending on the length of the sessions. This is great, but not anything exceptional.
Where I do think the S12 shines though is with its quick charging time of just 1.5 hours. This fast-charging capability is highly convenient for busy moms who may have limited time to spare between pumping sessions.
I do also love the Type-C charging port, which is compatible with a 5V 1A adapter so you can charge the S12 Pro at home, in the car, or using other compatible charging devices.
Value for Money
So, is the Momcozy S12 Pro worth it? In my opinion, I think the Momcozy S12 pro is definitely worth considering.
With the S12 Pro you’re getting a quality wearable pump, from a trusted breast pump brand, that ticks a lot of boxes without the premium price tag.
It is designed for comfort and comes with great suction strength, long battery life with quick recharge, and is very easy to use. But you compromise somewhat on discretion due to the design.
You also don’t get any of the high-end features of wearable breast pump, such as a tracking app, but I don’t feel you actually need those unless you’re exclusively pumping or needing to build your milk supply. And in those circumstances, you can easily use an external tracking app.
When you purchase a Momcozy S12 Pro breast pump, included in your kit is:

What I Wish Was Different
I really do think there is lots to love about the Momcozy S12, but there are a few things that I believe could make this pump even better.
Firstly, due to the breast pump’s soft food-grade safe silicone, the parts are not dishwasher safe. You can, however, use the Momcozy microwave sterilizing bags. For me this one is a bit of a tradeoff though you are paying with convivence but benefit with comfort. Still, it would be nice to have both!
I would love to see the inclusion of flange inserts in the kit. I think this would be a big bonus for moms new to pumping and don’t yet know their flange size.
The S12 Pro also lacks certain advanced features that other more expensive breast pumps offer, such as Bluetooth connectivity and mobile app integration. Whist this is a nice to have for me, and hence it’s on my wish list, it is not a deal breaker for me. But if you are wanting a breast pump with all the bells and whistles then you may want to consider that these advanced features are missing.
Then you have the design with the motor on top of the cup. While the Momcozy S12 Pro fits snugly into your bra and has no cords on show, it is not as discreet as other wearable pumps that feature the all in one design. That said, I do think it is still a discreet pump as the pump motors will likely be hidden by your shirt.
The Verdict
If you’re looking for a wearable breast pump that promotes comfort and productivity, all whilst being discreet, I think it’s hard to go wrong with the Momcozy S12 Pro.
With its cushioned breast shield design, powerful 300mmHg suction strength, 3 modes, 9 different suction levels, long battery life with quick recharge, and large LED screen, I think the Momcozy S12 Pro presents as a great budget friendly option for part-timer or occasional pumpers.
