Momcozy V2 Pro Review
Momcozy sent me the V2 Pro breast pump to review, and I have to say I was really keen to see how it stacked up against its predecessor, the Momcozy V2.
The Momcozy V2 Pro comes with hospital-grade suction, an ultra-quiet motor, and my new favorite tear drop-shaped collection cups.
But is the Momcozy V2 Pro worth it? And what else does the V2 Pro bring to the table?

My Momcozy V2 Pro Review
I’ll be honest I was a little underwhelmed with the upgrade from the V2 vs V2 Pro, especially after seeing the big changes that came with the V1 Pro upgrades.
That said, I think there is lots to love about the Momcozy V2 Pro like its hospital-grade suction to the design of its collection cups. But as with any breast pump, there are a few things to consider before deciding if this is the best Momcozy breast pump for your needs.

What I Love About the Momcozy V2 Pro
Whenever I review a breast pump for Pumping Milk, I look at the features that truly matter to moms: suction strength, comfort, portability, battery life, and ease of use. Plus, any standout features that might make it a perfect fit or a deal breaker.
For me, the standout feature of the Momcozy V2 Pro is its collection cups. With minimal parts, these slim, tear-drop-shaped cups are ultra-lightweight, at only 120g per cup and thanks to the tear-drop design they are extra discreet. Even though they appear small, they hold up to a huge 7oz of milk per cup, which I think is more than ample, even for those that produce a lot of milk.
In combination with the collection cups, you’ll find the signature Momcozy DoubtFit flange, which also comes with a unique 102 degree angle to mimic the position of a baby’s mouth.
In terms of the pump motor, it is small but mighty! The V2 Pro comes with hospital-grade suction with a maximum strength of 288mmHg with 3 pumping modes and 9 suction levels. It can also be used for single or double pumping and comes with a simple LED screen that displays all the critical information such as mode, suction level, battery life, and even has a inbuilt timer.
Battery life is another win for the V2 Pro. You’ll get up to 170 minutes run time on a single charge, which translates to about 6 x 30 minute pumping sessions before you need to plug it in. It also features a USB-C port for faster charging.
Another highlight is how quiet this pump is. At just 45dB, the V2 Pro is perfect for pumping during meetings, late-night sessions, or anytime you want to keep things discreet.
For me, the most exciting feature is how easy it is to clean and assemble. With fewer parts to manage, the V2 Pro saves you time and effort while maintaining hygienic standards.
Of course, there’s more to the Momcozy V2 Pro than just these highlights. So, let’s take a look in more detail.
Performance and Efficiency
When it comes to performance, the Momcozy V2 Pro delivers a solid combination of power and customization that makes it stand out among wearable breast pumps.
First, let’s talk about suction strength. The V2 Pro offers hospital-grade suction with a maximum strength of 288mmHg. While slightly less powerful than the Momcozy V1 Pro, it’s still a very powerful breast pump and more than capable of handling both regular pumping sessions and higher milk output demands. If you’re deciding between these two models, check out my Momcozy V1 Pro vs V2 Pro comparison to see how they stack up in features, comfort, and performance.
I really like that it comes with three pumping modes: stimulation, expression, and mixed mode. Whilst the stimulation and expression modes are standard with any breast pump, I love that you have the option of the third mixed mode. This mixed mode is a combination of the short suctions of the stimulation mode and the longer, drawn-out suctions of the expression mode which some moms, like me, find the combination of both more beneficial.
The pump offers 9 adjustable suction levels, allowing you to tailor the intensity for both comfort and effectiveness.

Design
Like the Elvie Stride, the Momcozy V2 Pro features a separate motor connected to lightweight collection cups via tubing. While I know some moms prefer the convenience of an all-in-one wearable pump, this design has its advantages. By keeping the motor off your chest, the V2 Pro reduces weight and potential discomfort. I think this is a huge plus for moms with back or shoulder issues.
As I mentioned before, the collection cups themselves are fantastic, especially when compared other portable breast pumps like the Horigen D6. The are sleek and discreet, fitting comfortably inside your bra. Each cup holds up to 7oz of milk and they are incredibly lightweight at just 120g per cup.
And best yet, they have very minimal parts to them thanks to the integrated design. For example, the diaphragm is integrated with the collection cup, so you do not need to remove it for cleaning and leads to less risk of leaks due to incorrect fitting.
You can also use the V2 Pro for both single and double pumping.
One thing I do think you need to consider though, especially if discretion is a priority, is that the V2 Pro isn’t as discreet as an all-in-one pump like the Momcozy M5. Whilst the collection cups certainly are discreet, you do have the tubing and separate motor which I feel are more noticeable. However, I feel the trade-off is worth it for many moms who value the lightweight and comfortable design.

Comfort
If your breast pump isn’t comfortable to use, you’re less likely to use it, which to me, defeats the purpose of getting a breast pump. So, comfort is a big-ticket item for me! And I’m happy to say that when it comes to pumping and the Momcozy V2 Pro, I was not disappointed.
One standout feature is the signature Momcozy DoubleFit™ Flange. This cushioned design not only fits snugly around the breast for added support but also helps create a secure seal for effective suction.
The Momcozy V2 Pro consists of a hard silicone flange that is covered with a soft silicone flange cushion.
The Momcozy V2 Pro comes with a 24mm flange as the default size, along with additional 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm inserts included in the kit so you can find the best fit. If you’re unsure about your size, the included nipple sizing guide is a great tool to help you get started.
One downside, however, is that there are currently no larger flange sizes available like a 27mm flange, so if you are someone with a larger nipple size this won’t be the pump for you. At least at this point, unless Momcozy release larger flange sizes.
Having the separate pump motor and collection cups does have an advantage with comfort as it means the collection cups are super lightweight at just 120grams per cup. This means you don’t have to carry the weight of the pump motor on your chest making it more comfortable.

Noise Levels
The Momcozy V2 Pro boasts an impressively quiet motor, operating at just 45dB. This is a slight improvement over the V1 Pro’s 48dB, making it one of the quieter pumps in the Momcozy pump range.
User-Friendliness
I think the Momcozy V2 Pro is a very user-friendly breast pump which helps make pumping as straightforward and hassle-free as possible.
With only 4 buttons it is easy to use and I love that all the essential information is clearly displayed on the easy to read LED screen. It also comes with one of my favorite features, an in-built timer, which I think it surprising given how small the pump motor actually is.
It also comes with a handy memory function that remembers your last-used settings, saving time during future sessions.
And as I mentioned earlier, there are only three parts to the collection cups which make cleaning this pump super easy!
Portability
Another big win for me is the portability of the Momcozy V2 pump.
It comes with a solid 180-minute battery life off a single charge. That’s 6 x 30-minute pumping sessions, which I think is great for those on the go.
Charging is via USB-C and takes about 2 hours to reach full charge.
I love that it uses USB-C, making it easy to find compatible charging cables and adapters, which adds to the pump’s portability and convenience.
Value for Money
For me, I think the Momcozy V2 Pro is a great option if you’re looking for a light weight and powerful breast pump with solid functionality at a reasonable price point.
While it’s not the cheapest option, it offers a lot of value for the price.
You also get some nice inclusions like the additional flange insert sizes and spare valves, helping to ensure you have what you need to get started right away without any extra purchases.

What I Wish Was Different
While the Momcozy V2 Pro offers a lot of great features, there are a few areas where I think it could be improved.
Unfortunately, the V2 Pro’s parts are not dishwasher safe. Cleaning involves using warm, soapy water followed by sterilizing the parts through boiling. It would be great to see Momcozy design parts that are dishwasher and UV sterilizer safe, which would save time and make cleaning more convenient.
Unlike the Momcozy M9, the V2 Pro doesn’t come with app integration, which I think is a shame, especially as it’s a feature that’s becoming more common in modern breast pumps and Momcozy already have an app available.
Although the V2 Pro includes multiple flange sizes, which I love, there isn’t a larger option beyond the 24mm flange. So, if you require a larger size, you will need to purchase it separately, which can be inconvenient for those with specific sizing needs. Similarly, if your size is smaller than 17mm. For most breastfeeding mothers, this won’t be an issue, but just something to keep in mind.
The Verdict
From the ultra-quiet pumping experience to the long battery life, I love the Momcozy V2 Pro for its impressive suction strength and its discreet and comfortable collection cups.
I’ll be honest though, I do think it is also worth checking out the Momcozy V1 Pro, as it offers the same awesome collection cups and does have more to offer in terms of functionality.
But that said, I do think the Momcozy V2 Pro is a great pump and certainly worth considering!
